UAB faculty from all corners of campus are invited to attend an All-Campus Faculty Lunch on Thursday, November 21 in Lister Hill Library, Edge of Chaos Atrium, on the 4th floor. Lunch will be available from 11:30am-1:30pm. Faculty who recently completed their Faculty Development Grant projects will be displaying posters from 11:15am-1:00pm.
Come enjoy great food with fellow faculty from across campus, relax and unwind, view the results of fellow faculty’s recent career development projects, and get information regarding the Faculty Development Grant Program. Meet up with your colleagues, and/or meet fellow faculty from across campus.
Drop in & out as your schedule allows. No need to RSVP- just come, and bring your colleagues or meet them there. The event will be hosted in the very social-friendly space of Lister Hill Library, Edge of Chaos Atrium, on the 4th floor.
Free and convenient event parking is available just across University Blvd, in the 9th Ave deck, at the corner of 16th St and 9th Ave, enter at the parking attendant, at the 16th Street side entrance. The new convenient cross walk leads from the parking deck to the front door of Lister Hill Library.
The leadership of the Faculty Development Grant Program will be on-hand to tell you more about the upcoming application period and a few changes made to the grant program.
Faculty Senate members will be present for you to meet, if you like, and can answer any questions you may have regarding shared governance activities, or to discuss any suggestions or concerns you may have.
