Dr. Malone is an associate professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy, School of Health Professions. Her primary interests revolve around promoting healthy, active lifestyles for all. Her career has focused on conducting research to examine the impact of physical activity on health and well-being in persons with physical disabilities across the lifespan. Specific areas of interest include reducing barriers to physical activity, improving access for underserved communities, the benefits of greenspace on health, and enhancing quality of life.
