AAPD - AAPD works to improve the lives of people with disabilities by acting as a convener, connector, and catalyst for change, increasing the political and economic power of people with disabilities.
Advocates in Disability Award - The Advocates in Disability Award program annually honors a young adult with a disability between the ages of 14 and 26 who is dedicated to positively affecting the lives of people with disabilities and their families in the United States. The program also supports an innovative project developed by the award recipient that benefits the U.S. disability community.

- The largest national community-based organization advocating for and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilites and their families.
                    
Protection and Advocacy for People with Disabilities, Inc. - is a private, non-profit South Carolina corporation governed by a volunteer board of directors. Recently co-sponsored a bill which codified best practices for ensuring the protection and rights of individuals with disabilities, the "Persons With Disabilities Right to Parent Act".

Autistic Self-Advocacy Network- Seeks to advance the principles of the field of disability rights with regard to autism. ASAN believes the goal of autism advocacy should be a world in which autistic people enjoy equal access, rights and opportunities. Nothing about us, without us!
