Research Interests

In general, my research focuses on injury prevention. I’m interested in examining the role of psychological factors in contributing and preventing unintentional injury among adults and children. In my thesis, I examined how the alcohol- and distraction-induced cognitive impairment led to risky pedestrian behaviors. I’m preparing my dissertation, and it will be theoretically based and focusing on factors associated with gun injury in children.
