Career: National Study Coordinator and Research Health Science Specialist, Seattle Epidemiological Research and Information Center, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs | Adjunct Instructor (Remote), International Partnership of Education Research and CommunicationDr. Jonathan Adams is currently serving as a visiting assistant professor at Pacific Lutheran University in Seattle, where he teaches Introductory Psychology, Lifespan Development, and Adolescent Psychology courses. In addition to his accomplishments as an educator, Adams has two first-author publications in the Journal of School Violence and Child Abuse and Neglect and has presented his research on school safety and adolescent risk behaviors at local, regional, and national conferences. He is grateful to UAB for providing him with the foundation he needs to be a successful researcher, instructor, and public speaker. While in the Psychology PhD program with a concentration in Developmental Psychology, Adams worked under the primary mentorship of Dr. Sylvie Mrug.
