Megan Cardenas is a dedicated public servant with over a decade of experience leading and supporting high-impact programs across the federal government, higher education, and nonprofit sectors. She currently serves as part of the Strategy and Impact team for the Women’s Foundation of Alabama and is focused on advancing economic opportunities for women and creating sustainable solutions for families.
Originally from Huntsville, AL, Megan received her Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Alabama and earned her Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in August 2025.
She is married to her loving husband, Carlos, and is the mother of three wonderful children, Oliver, Alice, and Claire.
