Adrianne Marbury, MPA, serves as the Senior Executive Director of Strategic Initiatives and Community Engagement for Birmingham City Schools. She is passionate about cultivating relationships that better communities through education, innovation and talented human capital.
Adrianne’s professional experiences involve program development, grants management and community engagement in the academic and nonprofit sectors. She is skilled in building excellent rapport with diverse community members. She has extensive experience in strategic planning, marketing, communications, social justice, and professional development. Adrianne builds, maintains and strengthens relationships for Birmingham City Schools with key internal and external stakeholders including school and district leadership teams, executives from the public and private sectors, governmental agencies, and nonprofit and community organizations to implement key strategic initiatives.
On a personal note, Adrianne is the proud mother of one daughter, Maleah, who inspires her to advocate, mentor and support youth and families in Birmingham.
