I am from Nepal, a country renowned for its natural beauty, home to Mount Everest—the world’s highest peak—and the birthplace of Gautam Buddha—the founder of Buddhism. I earned my Master’s degree in Physics from the Central Department of Physics, Tribhuvan University. In 2025, I joined the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) as a Teaching Assistant. I am interested in condensed matter physics, with a focus on investigating the optical properties of amorphous metasurfaces through ultrafast spectroscopy and density functional theory (DFT) under the mentorship of Dr. Appavoo.
