On Valentine's Day, social work students served a meal at First Light shelter in Birmingham. Students in Dr. Moak's Human Behavior in the Social Environment class partnered with other community members to provide a meal. Our portion of the meal included drinks and desserts. Four students, along with Dr. Moak from Social Work and Dr. Walker from Criminal Justice, were on hand to serve the meal and mingle with the women and children.
