Ivy Davis is currently a student of UAB’s Accelerated Bachelor’s/Master’s Program seeking a BA in Political Science with a concentration in Human Rights and Social Justice and a Master of Public Administration. Originally from Ocean Springs, MS, Ivy came to Alabama in 2019 and later graduated from the Alabama School of Mathematics and Science in 2024.
At UAB, Ivy is a member of the Global and Community Leadership Honors College and serves on the editorial board of Inquiro, a student-run research journal. Outside of the university, Ivy volunteers in the community with organizations such as STAIR of Birmingham and Untied Way, with a special emphasis on combatting child poverty and expanding advocacy networks.
After graduation, Ivy hopes to return to the NGO world full time and focus on children’s rights and protections.
