Postdoctoral Scholar Trainee
I am an NSF Ocean Sciences postdoctoral fellow investigating coevolution of marine microbes under climate change conditions and the biogeochemical consequences that may ensue. I also work on an NSF-funded project investigating the role of extracellular vesicles in interspecies interactions in the marine environment using high resolution imaging. When not working on research, I teach courses in the Honors College that involve helping students lead service-learning projects (STH 250 - Prime Time Leadership) and write their Honors thesis (STH 400 - Honors Thesis Prep). Before postdocing and teaching at UAB, I studied Oceanography at Scripps Institution of Oceanography and taught in the Biology and Environmental and Ocean Sciences departments at University of San Diego.
