I am a PhD student in Dr. Trygve Tollefsbol’s lab. My research interests are centered around breast cancer, which is the second leading cause of death among women worldwide. Our lab focuses on the role of dietary polyphenols in breast cancer epigenetics for primary prevention.
I hold a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh, and I completed a second Master’s in Public Administration at UAB, receiving the prestigious "Prime Minister Fellowship, 2021" from Bangladesh. In Fall 2023, I joined UAB's Graduate Biomedical Science program as a PhD student.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I serve as a Senior Assistant Secretary to the Government of Bangladesh. Outside of work and studies, I cherish spending quality time with my daughter.
