I am a PhD student in Dr. Trygve Tollefsbol’s lab. My research is focused on breast cancer, with a particular interest in the epigenetics of breast cancer and exploring how dietary polyphenols can aid in primary prevention. I hold a bachelor's degree in biotechnology and a master's in biomedical engineering from India, as well as a second master's in molecular medicine from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom which I completed in 2023. I was offered the PhD position at UAB and joined in the spring semester of 2024 with the prestigious Blazer fellowship that I'm obliged for. Since childhood, I've been passionate about science, participating in various Olympiads, and I aim to contribute to groundbreaking research in cancer and its treatment.
