This is the place where I'll be given the mentorship and resources to identify my passions and act on them! The question of "what's my why?" has often brought stress for me -- but at UAB, I'm already having experiences that are helping me identify the problems I want to solve and questions I want to answer. Here, the sky's the limit. As cliché as that sounds, if you have an original idea, someone is willing to help make it a reality!

It's tempting to approach life linearly, but that's just not the way it works! Sometimes you have to make loops and take wrong turns -- broadening your perspective and pushing beyond your comfort zone -- to find your niche.
